One tool for barcodes and QR codes

Barcodian is a comprehensive, file-processing barcode and QR code toolkit built for e-commerce sellers, warehouse and inventory teams, small businesses, shipping and logistics operations, teachers and developers. It supports both 1D and 2D symbologies under one roof — EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, ITF-14, Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar, GS1-128, Data Matrix, GS1 DataMatrix, PDF417, Aztec, QR Code and GS1 QR / Digital Link.

Creating a single barcode or QR code takes seconds: pick a type, enter a value and download a print-ready result as PNG, SVG, PDF, JPG or WebP. Check digits are calculated automatically for EAN/UPC/GTIN types, and you control every print setting — color, size, quiet zone, DPI and transparent background.

The heart of the site is its bulk engine. Upload Excel (.xlsx), CSV, TSV or JSON files, or copy-paste straight from Google Sheets. The system auto-detects your columns and maps fields like barcode_value, barcode_type, product_name, sku, price and quantity. Row-level validation then flags invalid rows, finds missing values and duplicate barcodes, and completes check digits. 10,000+ rows are processed in your browser without freezing the interface.

You never have to download codes one by one. Export everything as a PNG ZIP, SVG ZIP, single PDF, CSV report, invalid-rows CSV or JSON — or turn the same data into print-ready label PDFs. The label maker offers dozens of templates including A4, Letter, 100×150 mm shipping labels, 58/80 mm thermal and fully custom sizes, with quantity support and a live preview.

On the reading side you can decode barcodes and QR codes from images (JPG, PNG, WebP), multi-page PDFs and the camera, then collect the results — with type, value and position — in a table and export them as CSV. Validation tools cover EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, GTIN-8/12/13/14, ITF-14, Code 128 and GS1-128 Application Identifier parsing, with every calculation shown step by step.

Honesty matters to us: Barcodian validates the technical format of a barcode. A valid check digit does not mean the number is actually registered with GS1 or owned by any company. For an official GTIN and GS1 company prefix you must apply to GS1 — this site issues no official numbers and does not verify product registration or brand ownership.

Privacy is protected by default. Barcode/QR generation, Excel/CSV parsing, PDF rendering, image decoding and ZIP export run client-side — in your browser — wherever possible. We do not send your files to a server and we do not store them. All core tools are free and offer a fast, accessible experience on both mobile and desktop.
